Andrew Lake is a recent graduate who serves as Research and Development Manager at Lakefront Development Group. In this role, he conducts market research and provides detailed analysis to support commercial real estate development projects in the Pittsburgh and South Florida markets. He is also responsible for designing and implementing strategies that identify and capitalize on new opportunities for investment and growth. Strong skills in financial analysis, project management, client relations, market research, and quality management systems support his work.
Andy Lake completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Entrepreneurship with a concentration in Finance at the University of South Florida. While pursuing his studies, he was awarded the Green and Gold Scholars Award in 2020, which recognized first-year out-of-state students with strong academic performance. During his time at the university, he was also a dedicated member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity for four years. Serving as Ritual Chair, he worked to uphold the organization’s values while leading fundraising efforts for the Huntsman Cancer Institute, demonstrating his commitment to service and leadership.
His early education reflected academic achievement combined with athletic dedication. At Marshall Middle School, Lake earned Honor Roll recognition during the 2014–2015 academic year. Later, at North Allegheny Senior High School, he successfully balanced academics with athletics, earning multiple Scholar Athlete Awards for his participation in football, basketball, and lacrosse. His leadership skills were further developed through involvement at Summer’s Best Two Weeks Camp, where counselors observed his positive outlook, strong work ethic, and encouragement of peers. He graduated from high school with a 3.6 GPA, was recognized as a multi-year Scholar-Athlete, and was a finalist for the John Rullan Lacrosse Scholarship in 2020.
His professional experience began with an internship at SRI Quality System Registrar in Wexford. There, Andrew became the youngest in company history to achieve an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certificate after completing a two-month training program with SAE International. His responsibilities included assisting with quality management audits and helping improve communication processes between clients and internal scheduling teams. He also gained experience in customer service and teamwork through earlier roles at The Toy House and Emporio Restaurant.
He is proficient in Microsoft Office, has basic knowledge of Python programming, and speaks introductory Spanish. His community service includes volunteering with the Miracle League, an organization that enables children with disabilities to enjoy baseball in an inclusive environment.
Andrew Lake plans to further his career by obtaining a commercial real estate license and focusing on opportunities for growth in the South Florida market.
